What is Schedule Analysis?

A schedule analysis is a detailed evaluation of a project schedule that is conducted to provide insight into the reliability of the schedule forecast dates. Performing a schedule analysis gives us confidence in our project dates. It can also uncover areas of concern that require attention. The bigger the schedule, the more it is to conduct a schedule analysis regularly.

Who is this for?

This service is ideal if you are receiving project schedules from a contractor or sub-contractor and you want to get insight into the validity of the forecast dates. You can also use this service to evaluate your own in-house developed project schedules.

Our Process

1. Validate the Schedule

We first validate that the schedule has been built properly and that progress has been recorded properly.

2. Analyze the Schedule

We then evaluate several schedule health metrics and identify schedule drivers and areas of concern.

3. Produce a Report

A report is then produced that focuses the project manager’s attention to key areas that need attention.
